Homemade Freezer Chicken Nuggets

Made some Homemade Freezer Chicken Nuggets for my baby ☺️☺️☺️ mommies i hope this encourages you to stop feeding your little ones prepacked, msg loaded and extender filled nuggets from the supermarket. all you need is atleast an hour on a weekend to prep about 40 nuggets that u can freeze ahead for future consumption 🙂 i make this in small batches so that when its all gone in 2 weeks, i mix in new flavors to the new batch 🙂

  • 1/2 lb OR 1/4 kg ground chicken
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk ( i used almond milk)
  • honey cornflakes (use regular cornflakes if u dont like sweet nuggets) blended

-mix all the ingredients under A. scoop into small balls (about 1 tbsp each). prepare your breading station. dredge ball of chicken into cornstarch. dip into the egg-milk mixture. lastly, roll ball into the blended cornflakes. shape into small rectangles (or u can mold into different shapes using silicone molders found at baking supply stores. sa MK kitchen in cubao and rob metro east i think meron) preheat oven to 200C. bake for 15 min, flipping halfway through. let cool until room temp then keep in ziplock bags. keep in the freezer for atleast a month 🙂
